SWEET ALMOND OIL is a Refined Vegetable Oil that improves the intrinsic properties of Sweet Almond Oil creating a more functional vegetable oil. It has the fatty acid composition as inferred by the Sweet Almond Oil USP/BP. The physical characteristics have been improved resulting in minimal colour level and a virtually odourless vegetable oil.
SWEET ALMOND OIL exhibits greater stability over time compared to Sweet Almond Oil due to the addition of natural tocopherols.
SWEET ALMOND OIL applies easily,offers deep penetration and significant moisture retention together with high nourishing properties.
SWEET ALMOND OIL is designed for all kinds of cosmetic products from rinse-off to leave-on, where Sweet Almond Oil was previously employed.
TECHNICAL DATA
Appearance: Oily liquid, pale yellow with minimum odour.
Acidity index: < 0.50
Peroxide value: < 5.0
Specific gravity: 0.90~0.93 g/ml
Natural Tocopherol: < 100ppm
APPLICATION
SWEET ALMOND OIL may be applied directly to the skin and hair. It may also be easily incorporated as an active ingredient or an excellent carrier in skin and hair care products. Recommended dosage is between 3 to 8%.
SWEET ALMOND OILcan also be used directly as massage oil.
